LIKE OUR CYCLONE the pleated cartridge filter (above) in a reverse air pulse filter system is completely exposed and left unprotected from the constant onslaught of incoming debris.

UNLIKE OUR CYLCONE pleated and felt-type filters:

• immediately blind and suction drops - even with a brand new filter!

• As the onslaught of incoming debris continues, the filter becomes impregnated, suction continues to diminish and the filter's life and performance is compromised. 

BUYER BEWARE:  OSHA SILICA DUST REGULATION

• As per the OHSA Silica Dust Regulation:  it is the customer's responsibility (not the manufacturer) that the dust extractor operates and is maintained to perform at the stated specifications. according to the manufacturers' instructions for minimizing dust emissions.

• Cleaning a porous filter is a messy job:  Consult the owners manual of your dust extractor, but not all filters are washable and using an air compressor (besides being unhealthy and unsafe), is not allowed as per the OSHA Silica Dust Rule.
