FACT:  SMOOTH INTERIOR HOSE.  Inferior hoses have corrugations (valleys) inside the hose which causes dust to settle and accumulate.  As it accumulates, the hose gets heavy and the passageway narrows which reduces airflow (CFM.)  As this continues, the motor(s) and circuit begin to run hot, visible dust increases, maintenance is required and productivity suffers.  For dust and slurry extraction, always select a smooth-bore hose.
