1. Direct Drive Gears ( vs. planetary belt-drive):

   • Direct connection from the motor to the grinding head:

     • maximizes energy and efficiency

     • reduces amp draw by avoiding friction loss, wear and ongoing maintenance vs. planetary belt-drive grinders

   • Maintenance is minimal if any vs. constant maintenance and expensive repair cost with a planetary grinder

   • Direct drive connection from the motor to the drive plate eliminates belts and pulleys from breaking (i.e. used in a planetary grinder)

   • Direct- gear drive design optimizes the grinder's weight and rotational speed
