To handle a heavy weight machine you need power, specifically, 220 volt.  Unlike other heavy-weight machines, USA Avenger Grinders automatically adjust the weight-to-power to handle each application (grind, polish, coating removal).

BENEFITS of USING 480 VOLTAGE

• Provides greater and constant power over longer distances - 400 feet from the power source

• With 120 and 240 volt, voltage (current) drop 2% per 100' - not so with 480 volt

• When voltage drops, amp draw by the machine increases

  • Dumb machines, such as a vacuum that do not have electronics, will continue to draw from the weak power supply

  • Soon, they'll overheat, trip breakers and prematurely die

• All Avenger Grinders (240 and 480 volt) have electronics to compensate for weak circuits without damage
