Effective Applications:      

TRIP HAZARDS ---  Happen in many environments and one of the more common is with sidewalks where individual slabs become uneven and rise.  As a result, the raised slap needs milled to conform to the lower slap.

If a concrete grinder would be used it would take much longer and create considerable dust.  The speed of the scarifier’s aggressive cutters reduces the raised slap quickly and it is all done with dust control.

BONUS: With the precision depth control you're able to choose from a smooth to a more textured finish.

REMOVAL OF CONCRETE GREATER THAN 1/8” ---  A scarifier will accomplish this task significantly faster than a grinder. 

THICKER COATINGS ---  If you need to remove a thick coating a scarifier will be the fastest most effective form of removal.  While a grinder with PCD tool can remove these coatings just as well, a scarifier is more aggressive, faster, more effective, and less costly to operate.
