NEGATIVE PRESSURE VENTILATION (NPV)

Negative Pressure Ventilation (NPV), as opposed to Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV), is the method of using a fan to suck out unwanted particulates rather than blowing them out. The Tempest EBS-16's size and design is most effective and efficient at NPV; although, PPV may still be utilized in some circumstances.

LIGHT WEIGHT

At 47 lbs, the Tempest EBS-16 is one of the lightest weight ventilation units available. It's reduced dimensions and frame design allow users to easily carry it to and from the work site

SINGLE SPEED AOC MOTOR

The Tempest EBS-16 comes standard with a single speed electric AOC motor with an output of 0.3 HP. This specific motor is matched perfectly with the fan blade's size and pitch to produce the most effective air movement possible.

FORMED & WELDED ROLL CAGE FRAME

Not an ounce of Tempest's well known reliability and durability that comes standard on every fan was sacrificed to achieve this unit's small stature and light weight. The frame is made entirely of steel; all molded, formed and welded into a sturdy roll-cage design. Like every Tempest, it's built to last on the job site.

COMPACT SIZE

Originally intended for confined space ventilation, the EBS-16 is small enough to hang, sit or fit in a wide array of tight spaces. For storing or using ventilation, the EBS-16 box fan will suit you perfectly.

Features / Benefits

For both Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV, blows air) and Negative Pressure Ventilation (NPV, sucks air.) This is accomplished by using the Ducting Hose Adapter (right).
DUCTING HOSE ADAPTER - attached to the grill on either side or both sides of the fan. Installed, flex tube ducting or a dust sock can be attached.
COMPACT SIZE and WEIGHT - small size makes it very convenient to use and transport
WELDED STEEL ROLL CAGE FRAME - Every bend and cross brace weld is structurally engineered to increase the blower frame's strength to weight ration by as much as 30%.
- Welds eliminate the need to continuously maintain/tighten nuts and bolts
- Roll cage design gives protection to all angles and sides of the shroud and motor
AIRFLEX COMPOSITION IMPELLER - Uniquely designed impellers deliver maximum air volume (CFM), velocity and pressure
- Every size and type of the fan features a blade designed specifically for it to deliver the greatest performance possible
- Equipped with composite blades which are much safer than traditional metal blades as they disintegrate upon impact of any foreign object
