--- Spring-loaded attachment installs to the pin holders on the plate, 12 holders / 17" Hex Pin Plate

• Scarifies concrete surface for overlay
• Rotating carbide chips scrape through assorted overlays to create a new surface substrate in a stretched pattern
• Effectively and quickly removes damaged overlays through scarification to help provide proper bonding of the new floor overlay
• Coatings Coating Removal:  hard, soft, thin, thick coatings including tar, ice, rubber, yellow safety paint, mastics, etc. without melting the coating
• Works like a putty knife removing at least 90% of the coating
• SCARIFICATION - harden cutters scrape into the floor to effective remove high spots and create a rough finish on the floor for adhesion of a new overlay
  • a rough finish is generally left including ridges in the concrete
  • On jobs requiring a smoother finish, you may need to grind the surface after scarifying
• Expected footage:  4000 sq ft per edge, 8-edges
• Select to use 6 or 12 per plate - or faster removal use 6 carbide scrapers
• Spring-loaded tool provides maximum floor contact.
