What is a 5-PCD Tool?

5-PCD Cutter Without Diamond Bar 5-PCD tools are designed for fast removal of thick coatings, epoxies, mastics, glues, and other tough surface materials.

The five PCD cutting segments provide aggressive grinding action for maximum productivity and a smoother finish.

Without the diamond wear bar, the PCD is able to cut deeper, making it possible to remove even the toughest coatings. However, the PCD cutters are capable of leaving deep grooves in concrete (a cheese grade effect) and are not recommended to be used on floors that are to be polished.

For coating removal on floors that are to be polished, or to simply control the depth-of-cut and remove residual material, the PCD with the diamond bar is the preferred choice.
